Privacy Policy
How olympicrocks.com (Field & Stone) collects, uses and protects your personal data.
This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we process when you visit olympicrocks.com, why we process it, and the rights you have under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and French data-protection law.
Who is responsible for your data
The data controller is KEVALEX (SAS), 4 Route du Sept Un, 16100 Boutiers-Saint-Trojan, France — see our Legal Notice. For any privacy request, contact contact@olympicrocks.com.
What we collect
- Contact data. If you email us, we receive your email address and the content of your message, used solely to reply.
- Usage & analytics data. Like most sites, we use analytics to understand traffic — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type — in aggregated form. We do not use this to identify you personally.
- Technical logs. Our host records standard server logs (IP address, timestamp, requested URL) for security and reliability.
Cookies
We use a small number of cookies. Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working and do not require consent. Analytics and any third-party cookies are only set where permitted, and you can refuse non-essential cookies through your browser settings or our cookie banner. Blocking cookies will not stop you from reading the site.
Third-party services
- Google services. We may use Google Analytics and Google Search Console to measure and improve the site. Google processes data under its own privacy terms; data may be processed outside the EU under appropriate safeguards.
- Sponsored links. Some pages contain clearly marked
sponsoredlinks to our partner shop (Minerals Kingdom). If you click through, the destination site applies its own privacy policy.
Legal basis & retention
We process contact data on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering you, and analytics data on the basis of your consent where required. We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected, then delete or anonymise it.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, and to data portability. To exercise any of these, email contact@olympicrocks.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Security
The site is served over HTTPS and hosted by Infomaniak Network SA in Switzerland. We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data, though no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed perfectly secure.
Changes
We may update this policy as the site evolves. The current version is always available on this page.
